Impax appoints Vince O'Brien as Non-Executive Director

London, 03 September 2009 - Impax Group PLC ('Impax'), the AIM listed specialist investment manager focused on the environmental sector is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Vince O'Brien as a Non-Executive Director of the Company from 3rd September 2009.

Mr. O'Brien is currently a director of Montagu Private Equity and has worked in the private equity industry for over twenty years. Originally qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand he joined Montagu Private Equity in 1993. Formerly Mr. O'Brien was Chairman of the BVCA and served on its Council for seven years.
